Petrol Sign takes over Armada Janse

Growth in the European illuminated advertising market within reach.

Petrol Sign B.V., with offices in the Netherlands, Germany and Great Britain and part of the quoted MS INTERNATIONAL Plc, took over Armada Janse B.V., part of the Andus Group, on 11 September 2019. Together with around 80 employees, they comprise one of the largest players in the European market for illuminated advertising.

“The acquisition fits within our international, strategic growth ambitions,” says CEO Eelco Lambooij. “Thanks to the synergy of our services and organisations, we can increase our capacity to make better use of new market opportunities and strengthen our position.” The ISO 9001:2015 and VCA** certified companies are successful and financially and economically sound. The takeover will have no adverse consequences for staffing. Both companies will continue to operate under the names Petrol Sign | MSI and Armada Janse | MSI from their current locations in Gameren and Budel respectively. Managing Director Leon Akkermans sees great opportunities for growth: “The need for high-quality total solutions in illuminated advertising is increasing throughout Europe. By bundling our expertise, we can serve existing and new customers even better, both nationally and internationally.
